Prior to joining the Marketing Science Centre, Samantha was based in Rome working as a marketing executive. Her international experience expands across several industries including travel and tourism, legal services, television and film production.

Karen is currently undertaking a PhD in Media Strategy. She has had over 15 years experience in sales and marketing across a broad spectrum of industries, and over five years management experience at an executive level. Her extensive industry work has meant she has been involved in most aspects of marketing.

Peter is currently undertaking a Master by Research with research interests including advertising test measures and advertising effectiveness, with a special interest in ad clutter. He has broad experience in the administration and implementation of telephone, online and face-to-face questionnaires.

Mari van Rensburg
Mari completed her Magister Commercii (Masters in Marketing) at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1998 and is now busy with her PhD focusing on Defections Management. Her research interests include consumer behaviour, customer satisfaction, integrated loyalty management and marketing strategies. She has previously worked in the management team at the Barlows Equipment Company and has consulted for various companies on their marketing plans and strategies.

Wade Jarvis
Wade is completing a PhD in the area of wine buying behaviour. He has qualifications in agriculture and marketing, with a professional background in food and wine marketing. Wade also helped established Palandri Wines Pty Ltd, a 'cutting edge' large winery in the Margaret River, Western Australia.

Cullen Habel
Cullen has been a key account manager in the flexible packaging industry, with earlier positions with various business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales roles. In 2001 he joined the School of Marketing at the University of South Australia and embarked upon a career in research in the field of Marketing Science. He primarily uses mathematical and statistical modelling techniques as a way to understand marketing phenomenon such as the Pareto effect, customer portfolio buying and market dynamics.
